资源简介:
This dataset, developed as part of the Horizon Europe COMMECT project, contains KPI measurements from 5G and satellite links collected by the Denmark Living Lab. The campaign was conducted on a highway crossing the Jutland peninsula (Denmark) to evaluate the performance of multi-connectivity solutions in high-mobility environments. The dataset focuses on the integration of cellular and satellite links to address connectivity challenges in these regions. The measurements include data from one 5G cellular operator and a satellite link. Each row represents a recorded data point, capturing critical radio parameters and latency/throughput performance. The data, presented in Matlab *.m format, is structured with the name “X_Y_Z”, where: (i) X indicates the type of technology studied, i.e., cellular or satellite, (ii) Y indicates the KPI analyzed, i.e., Round-Trip Time (RTT), Downlink Throughput (Mbps) or Uplink Throughput (Mbps), and (iii) Z indicates whether the measurements correspond to mobility (on the highway) or static, performed as a reference at Aalborg University. Included Parameters: Time: The timestamp indicating when the measurement was recorded. Latitude: GPS coordinates for latitude. Longitude: GPS coordinates for longitude. Round-Trip Time / Downlink Throughput / Uplink Throughput: The measured data round-trip time and/or transmission rate. RSRP (dBm): Reference Signal Received Power, representing the signal strength (only available in the cellular link). RSSI (dB): Received signal strength indicator, representing the signal strength (only available in the cellular link). RSRQ (dB): Reference Signal Received Quality, reflecting the signal quality (only available in the cellular link). SNR (dB): Signal-to-Noise Ratio (only available in the cellular link).  The dataset provides a foundation for analysing multi-connectivity performance in high mobility scenarios and is used in the following research paper:  A. Ramírez-Arroyo, T. B. Sørensen and P. Mogensen, "Terrestrial 5G and Starlink NTN Multi-Connectivity Toward 6G Communications Integration Era: An Empirical Assessment," IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, vol. 6, pp. 5269-5283, 2025. The dataset is available as a ZIP file containing the processed measurement data and the associated research.
