Previous exploration on EPC 926 includes 22 open and 2 partially cored holes drilled for 4919m, down-hole geophysical logging, coal quality, geotechnical testing and conceptual geological modelling.
This work identified the View Hill prospect in the southern section of EPC 926 with the potential to host a coal resource with significant volumes of export quality thermal coal.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, exploration work in 2020 was confined to an office-based review of planned drill sites and evaluation of current stakeholders and previous access arrangements with Native Title holders and landowners.
