资源简介:
One of the tests conducted at the Digital Archaeology Lab lately was to create a model of the same sherd using every application that we had at our disposal, so as to have comparative data. This particular model was made using Metascan, an iPad application with both LiDar and photogrammetry capabilities. We used the photogrammetry function to create this model.
The sherd itself is an ironstone basal sherd from a plate; it features a transferprinted maker's mark indicating that it was made by J. & G. Meakinn (Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England). The mark itself features what is referred to as the "modern" Royal Arms and can be used to date this particular sherd to after 1890. If you look closely, you can make out the beginning of the word "Ironstone" and the start of "J. & G. Meakin."
