The Forest Resilience Initiative seeks to accelerate the creation of referential and population genomic data for Australia’s forest species. This genomic data will support researchers, conservationists, and land managers in developing effective restoration and management strategies for Australia’s biodiverse and distinct forest ecosystems, and help these forests respond to Key Threatening Processes including changing climate and pressure from disease. Bioplatforms Australia is enabled by the Commonwealth Government National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
