Results files of the manuscripts Martins & Pinto (2026a) and Martins & Pinto (2026b), with respectively titles: “Development of an upper envelope curve of frequency factors for Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) estimation in tropical regions under convective regimes: a deterministic approach” --> https://doi.org/10.1590/2318-0331.312620250147 "Derivation of frequency factors for Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) estimation through stochastic simulation of annual precipitation maxima in tropical convective regions" --> https://doi.org/10.1590/2318-0331.312620250148 The folder "01_tabular data" presents the results in tabular format (.xlsx and .geojson). The folder "02_IDW_upper_envelope_PMP" provides the spatializations of the PMP obtained by regional envelope for durations between 24 hours and 30 days, as well as for the 24-hour Hershfield PMP. Finally, the folder "03_IDW_synthetic_PMP" addresses the spatializations of the Synthetic PMP for durations between 24 hours and 30 days, associated with the 95% and 99% percentiles. Here are descriptions of each variable found in the results files --> Name: Station name. Rainfall_Station: Station code. Operator: Operator. Climate_Classif:Köppen-Geiger climate classification. Lat: Latitude in decimal degrees (SIRGAS 2000 --> EPSG: 4674). Long: Longitude in decimal degrees (SIRGAS 2000 --> EPSG: 4674). Average_Altim: Average elevation of the monitoring point. Data_Period: Period of monitored data. Consol_Hydrol_Years: Hydrological years consolidated for the study. Dist_to_Centroid: Linear distance to the center of the selection circle. Pmax_24h: Maximum historical precipitation recorded for the duration of 24 hours. Klocal_24h: Local frequency factor for the duration of 24 hours. Km_24h: Frequency factor extracted from the regional envelope for the duration of 24 hours. PMP_24h: Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) extracted from the regional envelope for the duration of 24 hours. RP_24h:    Return Period of Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) associated with the regional envelope with a duration of 24 hours. Km_Hershfield_24h: Frequency factor extracted from the 24-hour Hershfield envelope. PMP_Hershfield_24h: Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) extracted from the 24-hour Hershfield envelope. K_95pct_24h: Synthetic frequency factor associated with the 95% percentile for the duration of 24 hours. PMP_95pct_24h: Synthetic Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) associated with the 95% percentile for the duration of 24 hours.
