Historical forest areas Schmettau in the state of Brandenburg — WMS

The data presented results from the digital collection of forest areas, differentiated by 8 categories. The basis was the Schmettau’s work of maps, created between 1767 and 1787. The map works cover the territory of Prussia east of the Weser on a total of 270 sheets. Of these, all maps of the territory of Brandenburg have been evaluated digitally. The mapping took place on a scale of 1:50000 without a trigonometric basis. The originals are owned by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Preußischer Kulturbesitz). Scale: 1:50000
