Number of FIGC soccer referees in Italy 2010-2019, by sector

Between the seasons 2010/2011 and 2018/2019, the number of soccer referees in the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) decreased overall. Referees who were members of national technical bodies went down from 1,899 to 1,844 over the seasons considered. Similarly, the number of referees of regional and sectional technical bodies dropped from roughly 33 thousand in 2010/2011 to 29.6 thousand in 2018/2019.
