Patient-reported Outcomes and Acupuncture-related Adverse Events are overlooked in Acupuncture Randomized Controlled Trials: a cross-sectional meta-epidemiological study

Complete and standardized reporting can facilitate study transparency, openness, and reproducibility. Therefore, we assessed the reporting of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs) and acupuncture-realted Adverse Events (A-AEs) of acupuncture Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and presented them in this dataset. The dataset contains raw data on general characteristics, report scores, data sharing details, and spin assessments from 423 acupuncture RCTs. All data were double-checked to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data extraction.
