A high-performance multicomponent alloy composite was fabricated through laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) using a blended powder strategy followed by aging treatment. The resulting material exhibits an exceptional strength–ductility synergy, achieving a tensile strength of ∼1700MPa and total elongation of ∼12%. Rapid solidification during L-PBF refined in-situ nano-carbides/borides, while subsequent aging induced dense coherent L12 nanoprecipitates. The triple nanoparticles (Cr2B, TiC and L12) provide synergistic strengthening, and coherent L12/matrix interfaces help maintain ductility by alleviating stress concentration. This approach integrates in-situ precipitation during additive manufacturing with post-heat treatment to achieve high-performance metal matrix composites.
