Watch Guide 2010/2 Guide to the implementation of the Decree on Information Security in Central Government

The objective of the Ministry of Finance on the implementation of the Decree on Information Security in the State Administration is to improve and harmonise the implementation of the Information Security Decree (681/2010) of 1 July 2010 on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999) and entered into force on 1 October 2010. In accordance with the instructions, the authority can achieve a level of information security in accordance with the Regulation in its operations and cooperation, which balances risk management and cost-effectiveness. The guide replaces the previous instructions on information security instructions for the handling of government datasets (VAHTI 2/2000), the security classification and marking instructions for information and documents kept secret (Ministry of Finance 5/01/2000) and sensitive international datasets (VAHTI 4/2002).
