Dataset for: Granular encapsulation of light hydrophobic liquids (LHL) in LHL-salt water systems: Particle induced densification with quartz sand

This dataset reports contact angle, interfacial tension, adhesion, and aggregated volume for various hydrophobic compounds. Compound drops were placed on a quartz crystal surface which was then immersed in salt water (34 g/L). After adding quartz sand to dyed hydrophobic compounds in salt water, aggregated globules were counted and measured to estimate aggregated volume.
