This BioProject includes a high-fat diet (HFD) induced rat model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) with Faecalibacterium prausnitzii intervention. Four groups are studied (CON, HFD, HFD plus low-dose Faecalibacterium prausnitzii, and HFD plus high-dose Faecalibacterium prausnitzii; n = 8 per group). Fecal samples undergo 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and liver tissues undergo single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to characterize gut microbiota and hepatic cell changes associated with NAFLD and its treatment.
