The study aims to describe the microbiota of a freshwater humic pond using high throughput sequencing time series. The pond is called Jiricka and is located in the Czech Republic. Water samples have been collected since May 2016 and filtered through a series of polycarbonate filters. DNA was extracted from the 0.2 micron filters to obtain genomic DNA of the microbial community and sequencing.
