Dataset of terpene content fluctuation in terpene-infused pre-rolled cones to changes in surroundings temperature, humidity, and light exposure

Terpene is a volatile compound, which commonly infused to provide flavor in pre-rolled cones. During storage time, the content of infused terpene can decrease due to the impact of storage conditions, including temperature, light intensity, and humidity. This dataset contains the data on the fluctuation of terpene content in pre-rolled cone paper after subjected to different magnitude of temperature, humidity, and light flux intensity. The terpene content was measured by employing colorimetric procedure: terpene was extracted from the pre-rolled cone paper using chloroform and then reacted with sulfuric acid to form reddish-brown precipitate, which has maximum absorbance at a wavelength of 538 nm. Using the colorimetric procedure, the amount of terpene lost during storage can be determined. The elevation of temperature and light intensity cause the acceleration of terpene lost. In contrary, high humidity level can help in maintaining the terpene content.
