MEGAN6 taxonomically binned CLC de novo contigs based on blastn (xxxx.<b>nucl</b>.taxon.fasta) and blastx (xxxx.<b>prot</b>.taxon.fasta) annotations.<br><br>The bash script ("merger.sh", see repository SCRIPTS) was written to merge nucl and prot files into xxxx.<b>both</b>.taxon.fasta.<br><br>The file double_contigs.txt includes a summary of the contigs that were binned in more than one taxon and manually binned or left out.<br>
