U.S. skill-based RMG interest 2022, by age group

About six in ten adults in the United States who were aware of skill-based real money gaming (RMG) were also interested in playing such games. About 64 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 34 years who had heard of real money skill games, also known as cash games, claimed it was very likely for them to play such games. Some U.S. states make a distinction between gambling on a game of chance and gambling on a game of skill. Popular online games of skill are card games (including poker), chess, rummy, or dominoes.
