Transcriptome analyses of mantle pallium tissue in Atrina pectinata. Atrina pectinata

To understand the molecular mechanisms of shell formation, we performed transcriptome using next-generation sequencing technology (HiSeqX). We constructed cDNA library for transcriptome using RNA samples were extracted from the mantle pallium tissue of a pen shell Atrina pectinata. This trasncriptome data were used for identify the biomineralization-related genes in this species.
