The aim of this study is to see the differences in bacterial biodiversity of human stools from patients with IBS following a low FODMAP and placebo dietary advice combined with the probiotic treatment. The aim is to ahow if Probiotic co-administration with a low FODMAP diet could ameliorate the effect of a diet-induced decline in bifidobacteria abundance.
