资源简介:
This resource contains shapefiles which were the central dataset of Marc et al., 2015.
These shapefiles represent all new landslides in the epicentral areas of the 1999 Mw 7.6 Chi-Chi (Taiwan) earthquake.
The polygons are single landslide (avoiding amalgamation as much as possible) which appeared or extended substantially by comparing pairs of images.
The naming convention is containing the YEAR and Julian day of the acquisition of the first image then the Julian day of acquisition of the second image of the pair. This second date is lower than the first one when the pair is spanning from Year to Year +1. Period corresponding to typhoons with major landsliding are also named (Herb, Toraji, and Morakot).
Detailed description of the mapping procedure can be found in Marc et al., 2015 (Geology) which MUST be cited when using this resources.
Additional contextualization and discussion of these data can also be found in Marc et al., 2021 (BSSA).
