Current Height file Netherlands 2 (AHN2) DTM

The Current Height File Netherlands (AHN) is the digital height map for the whole of the Netherlands. Ahn is a collaboration of the provinces, government and water boards. The height is measured with laser altimetry: a technique in which a plane with a laser beam scans the Earth’s surface. The AHN2 was collected in the period 2007-2012.For more information on the AHN see https://ahn.nl. These WM(T)S services include the AHN raster files with a resolution of 0.5 meters. A distinction was made between the DTM and the DSM. The DTM is intended as a ground level file, where all points classified as “moving ground” have been re-sampled to a grid based on a Squared IDW method.
