Identification of regenerative processes in neonatal spinal cord injury in the opossum (Monodelphis domestica)

Spinal injury early in development results in spontaneous spinal cord regeneration, but this response diminishes over time. This study uses the Grey short tailed opossum (Monodelphis domestica) and is a time-course comparison of transcriptomes from "regenerating" (injured at post-natal-day 7: P7SCI) vs "non-regenerating" (injured at post-natal-day 28: P28SCI) spinal injuries.
