Site Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Brockley Wood Quarry, Belstead, Suffolk, June 2023

The collection derives from an archaeological evaluation at Brockley Wood Quarry, Belstead, Suffolk, comprising site images and GIS data. The works were undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in June 2023. Residual worked flint, broadly datable to the prehistoric period, was retrieved from Trenches 118, 119 and 122. While also within the northern limits of the investigation area, a ditch produced two sherds of medieval pottery. Post-medieval and modern activity was also recorded, comprising pits and ditches.
