Monthly Mean Sea Surface Height from Dynamic Persistence Forecasts Based on ECCO Version 4 Release 4 (V4r4)

This dataset contains monthly mean dynamic sea surface height (IB-corrected) from forward ocean dynamic persistence forecasts based on the Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO) project, Version 4 Release 4 (V4r4). Each forecast (stored in a subfolder) is a 12-month, flux-forced forward simulation initialized using V4r4 model state at the beginning of each month from January 1992 through December 2017, and forced with V4r4's seasonal climatological forcings. For example, the subfolder ECCO_V4r4_DYN_PERSISTENCE_INIT_2008-02-01 contains a forecast initialized at 0Z on 2008-02-01 (as indicated by "INIT_2008-02-01" in the subfolder name).
