Cell-free DNA as an Independent Predictor of Severity in Elderly Patients with Community-Acquired Pneumonia

This dataset contains the raw clinical and laboratory data used in the analysis of elderly patients with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). The data include demographic characteristics, clinical classification (severe and non-severe CAP), and laboratory measurements obtained at hospital admission, including plasma cell-free DNA (cfDNA) levels and conventional inflammatory biomarkers such as C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), interleukin-10 (IL-10), and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR).
All data were anonymized prior to upload and were used to evaluate the association between cfDNA levels, inflammatory responses, and disease severity in elderly patients with CAP.
