This table provides quarterly and annual data, since 1993, on gross foreign investment made in companies in Spanish territory according to the nature of the investor. The nature of the investor refers to whether the investment is made by an ETVE (Entity Holding Foreign Securities) or another type of entity. The information is disaggregated territorially for the autonomous communities of Spain. It is important to note that the sum of the investments made in the autonomous communities is lower than the total in Spain due to the impossibility of allocating investments to an autonomous community, being collected under the territory called "Rest of Spain".
