The TfL Classification of Londoners (TCoL) is a multi-modal geo-demographic segmentation based upon the 2011 Census and data from a TfL-specified survey in 2015. It uses information about Londoners’ travel behaviour, characteristics and attitudes to characterise every output area in London into one of nine segments.
