Quantitative, genome-wide analysis of eukaryotic replication initiation and termination

Via the deep-sequencing of Okazaki fragments from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, we report the first comprehensive documentation of genome-wide replication directionality in any eukaryote; this permits the systematic analysis of both replication initiation and termination本研究通过对酿酒酵母（Saccharomyces cerevisiae）的冈崎片段（Okazaki fragments）开展深度测序，首次实现了任意真核生物全基因组复制方向性的全面记录；该成果可为复制起始与复制终止的系统性分析提供可靠支撑。
