In 2009, USAID tasked PSI with the role of lead agency in developing a methodology and conducting Routine Behavioral Tracking Surveys of the current USAID-funded FSW and MSM programs in Yunnan and Guangxi. PSI takes the lead role in measuring exposure to services and association between this exposure and estimates of behavioral indicators in program sites. This is done using a survey based on its TRaC tool and incorporating sampling and experience from other methodologies and data collection, such as the FHI behavioral surveillance survey (BSS).
