Space-charge limited current flow verification results for reusable PIC verification test cases

This archive contains the run-level and aggregated numerical results supportingthe manuscript A FAIR and Code-Agnostic Framework for Reusable VerificationTest Cases in Particle-in-Cell Simulations. The results demonstrate the application of a common verification pipeline tothree independently developed particle-in-cell (PIC) codes: PANTERA, THMPIC,and WarpX. Two verification cases of a one-dimensional, collisionless,electrostatic planar-diode problem are considered: A2 and B3. For each code,test case, and refinement level, ten statistically independent simulations wereperformed and evaluated using the same reference-solution and error-analysisprocedure. The archived results are verification evidence for the investigatedimplementations and configurations. They are not intended as a ranking of thethree PIC codes or as a validation of their physical models.
