The idea of residence in the Neolithic Cotswolds: PhD thesis, University of Sheffield (2002)

A Ph.D theseis submitted to the University of Sheffield which is an investigation of the idea of residence in the British Neolithic carried out at a regional level. Using lithic assemblages in combination with other sources of monumental and topographical information the choices made in different periods within the individual monumental and topographical areas is analysed. An attempt is made to draw out the contrasts and continuities in residential practices in the region as a whole during different periods.
