<p>This survey was sponsored by the Washington Post and conducted by TNS Intersearch. A national sample of 850 adults were interviewed on July 8-11, 2004. Major topics covered: George W. Bush job performance; trust Bush/Kerry to do a better job handling certain issues; Bush characteristics/qualities; Kerry characteristics/qualities; impression of Washington, D.C. areas as a place to live; professional sports.</p>
