Hyperspectral Bio-Optical Observations Sailing on Tara (HyperBOOST) Collocated In situ Dataset

The HyperBOOST co-located In situ Dataset is organised in three dataset categories (biogeochemical, IOPs, and AOPs), a separate Excel file was created for each of them. Each Excel file contains: a Metadata sheet, a Readme sheet, and one or more Data sheets. In all Excel files, each Data sheet includes a first column named “StationNumber”, which preserves the original station indexing and allows straightforward linkage with the Metadata sheet, where the same identifier is used. The file HyperBOOST_dataset_2023_2024_biogeochem_v20260114.xlsx contains the biogeochemical measurements measured during Tara Europa. Pigment concentrations are labelled using standard pigment abbreviations, which are listed and described in the Readme sheet. The file HyperBOOST_dataset_2023_2024_IOPs_v20260114.xlsx contains inherent optical properties (IOPs) derived from: filter-pad measurements, CDOM filtering, and inline optical systems. The file HyperBOOST_dataset_2023_2024_AOPs_v20260114.xlsx contains apparent optical properties (AOPs), specifically remote-sensing reflectance (Rrs) measured by two instruments: SoRad, and HTSRB.
