Metro & Tram Network

Digital base representing the metro and tram network in Andalusia. It includes the different paths and their categories. It is generated with the intention of serving as a homogeneous reference for planning tasks of the Autonomous Administration. It aims to respond to the needs of the “Infrastructure Plan for the Sustainability of Transport in Andalusia (PISTA 2007-2013)”. The information has been collected at various levels of observation, although it is assumed that 1:10.000 would be the minimum scale at which the representation is reliable. The data, which are in shape format, are updated quarterly since 2006 in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the body responsible for information.
