"A Taxonomy of Faithfulness Evaluation Methods for Post-hoc Attribution Maps in Imaging XAI: A Systematic Review" — Dataset and Interactive Repository

This repository accompanies the systematic review Lamprou et al. (2026, under review). A systematic search of Scopus and IEEE Xplore (final search: 15 December 2025) identified 107 studies, from which a taxonomy of 68 faithfulness evaluation methods was derived, organized across 4 categories based on how attribution scores are used to formulate a faithfulness argument. Contents: taxonomy.json: machine-readable dataset of all 68 methods, including name, category, subcategory, description, tags, and defining references. taxonomy.csv: flat export of the same data for spreadsheet users.
