Mobile Crowd Sensing of Environments (MCSE): Ecological Indicator Value Maps from Citizen-Science Plant Observations for Europe and European Cities

This dataset provides climate- and soil-related environmental indicators derived through Mobile Crowd Sensing of Environments (MCSE). These indicators are inferred from citizen-science plant observations combined with bioindication using ecological indicator values. The dataset includes the following factors: Temperature Light Availability Moisture Soil Reaction (pH) Soil Nutrients Salinity Soil Disturbance Data are available at two spatial scales: Europe-wide coverage at 0.166° (~10 km) resolution, provided in the folder EUROPE.zip. Urban-scale coverage for 326 European cities at 0.00166° (~100 m) resolution, provided in the folder URBAN.zip. Cities are arranged by URAU_CODE according to European urban audit. Grid cells are assigned NA where insufficient observational data were available to compute reliable mean indicator values.
