In § 2 of the Law on the Building Plan Poppenbüttel 14/Hummelsbüttel 20 of 10. The following provisions are added on December 1, 1973 (Hamburg Law and Ordinance Gazette, page 530): 3. In the open-plan residential areas, only one single or semi-detached house within a depth of not more than 25.0 m, measured from the building boundary parallel to the road boundary, is permitted per plot. Outside this construction depth, only another building on the property as a detached house is permitted if: — a minimum distance of 15.0 m from the construction permitted under the first sentence; and — a boundary distance of at least 7.5 m from the rear land boundary-if no other distance is established by a construction boundary. 4. If rear plots of land are divided into a separate plot, a single house is only permitted on the newly constructed land if no more than one single or semi-detached house has been built on the previously separated plots. 5. For the construction along the roads, a parallel side construction is required. The permissible depth of the building shall be measured between the road side and the back of the buildings. 6. No more than two dwellings per building shall be permitted.’
