Data set with demographic, phenotypic and fitness data on individuals in three house sparrow populations. Two of the populations were subjected to artificial selection for increased (high) or decreased (low) tarsus length over the years 2002-2005. The final population was kept as a control. No phenotypic manipulations were performed in the populations in the subsequent seven years (2006-2012).
