Dataset for Extreme Eocene secular variation revealed by coupled palaeomagnetic directional and palaeointensity changes in the Talysh volcanic succession

This dataset contains directional and palaeointensity data files associated with the manuscript “Extreme Eocene secular variation recorded by coupled palaeomagnetic directional and palaeointensity changes in the Talysh volcanic succession”. The archive includes specimen-level directional data used to calculate group mean directions, and direct-upload Paleointensity.org files for thermal Thellier, microwave Thellier, Shaw, pseudo-Thellier and Triaxe palaeointensity analyses. These files reproduce the directional statistics and palaeointensity analyses reported in Figures 4–5, Table 2 and Supplementary Tables 1–4 of the manuscript.
