Repository of Water Quality Datasets & Models for the Lenguazaque River Basin (Cundinamarca, Colombia)

This repository contains the datasets, models, and code necessary to reproduce the methods related to water quality of my PhD Thesis. The Thesis can be found here -> https://repositorio.uniandes.edu.co/handle/1992/64730 Specifically, the methods are described in Section 3.3 of the Thesis and in the study area is presented in Chapter 4. Accordingly, materials in this repository lead to the results presented in Chapter 5. These contents are also found in the following peer reviewed publication, currently under review: Fernandez, N. & Camacho L.A. (2023). Water quality modeling in headwater catchments: Comprehensive data assessment, model development and simulation of scenarios. Water. Under review (submitted on January 20th, 2023). The repository is organized according to the following description: ▪ Folder 1 (Data): This folder contains all primary and secondary water quality records available at the sites presented in Fig. 5.19 and described in Table 5.7. ▪ Folder 2 (Models): This folder contains all QUAL2Kw model files with the results presented in Section 5.3.2.3. Files are available for calibrated and verified models in Streams A, B, and C as defined in Fig. 5.25. The files include models with optimal parameters, as well as quantiles 2.5 and 97.5 quantiles as presented in Table 5.13. ▪ Folder 3 (Code): This folder contains the analyses of the three stages of the proposed framework for water quality modeling, as presented in Table 3.2, where code was involved. All codes were written in Matlab and are numbered following the order of the activities of the proposed framework as closely as possible.
