GLTSCR1 was reported as a glioma tumor suppressor candidate region gene, because allelic loss of the chromosome 19q arm is a frequent event in human diffuse gliomas. Nevertheless, the clinical significance of GLTSCR1 expression remains unknown in other solid tumors, such as colorectal cancer. As an epigenetic reader protein, BRD4 plays an oncogene role in cancer metastatic process and clinical stages through binding to acetylated lysine on histones. Herein, we constructed mock and GLTSCR1 knock out cells of HCT116 and Scramble and shBRD4 of HCT116 cell lines to explore the molecular mechanism of GLTSCR1 and BRD4.
