List of monuments

Cultural monuments are protected by law and recorded for memorandum purposes in a register known as the list of monuments. The owners concerned will be notified of their inclusion in the list of monuments. At the same time, the list of monuments is published here and updated on a weekly basis. The list of monuments is not exhaustive, but is constantly reviewed, supplemented and corrected. All the ‘cultural monuments of particular importance’ previously entered in the old ‘Denkmal Book’ under the Nature Conservation Act of 2015 have been automatically incorporated into the new list of monuments, but their representations have not yet been finally updated (description, scope of protection).
