Test data for low cycle fatigue - strain control on material AISI 316 L at 20 Celsius
收藏资源简介:
In the context of the NULIFE project, this data collection relates to a combined experimental and analytical investigation conducted on tubular components of low-carbon 316L stainless steel subjected to cyclic thermal shocks of varying intensity. To underpin the component tests, low cycle fatigue (LCF) tests, as well as tensile tests were carried out at 20°C using standard cylindrical specimens. Concerning the LCF tests, uniaxial testing of solid section specimens under cyclic strain control is used to determine the fatigue characteristics of the material. Cyclic stress-strain curves, hardening/softening behaviour, fatigue life vs. strain relationships, and the elastic modulus of the material have been determined for the low-carbon 316L stainless steel under consideration.
