Total density of ozone in atmospheric column for each image segment, based on the SEVIRI 9.7 micron Ozone channel and other IR and WV channels. Applications and Users: Numerical Weather Prediction Centres, Ozone Monitoring Services and Research Institutes. From 1 June 2022, Meteosat-9 at 45.5° E is the prime satellite for the IODC service, replacing Meteosat-8 (located at 41.5° E while in operation).
