An analysis of DMPs for factors proposed to be associated with their efficacy as research tools

An analysis of data management plans (DMP) at an Australian institution. <br>The 834 DMPs sampled were a random subset of those extracted from a population of 1986 on the University's DMP system in November 2017.<br>DMPs were analysed across several criteria, including:- Detail and quality of information provided about physical and digital data storage.- Attitude/effort towards DMP completion and writing quality.- Data type clarity and findability.<br>Of 834 DMPs sampled, 21 were excluded because they were identified as being test submissions. 813 were subsequently included in the analysis.<br>Due to the impracticability of anonymising the raw data and institutional sensitivity, only the results of the analysis are available upon request.<br>Detailed background, methods, results and discussion are provided in an associated manuscript.
