资源简介:
This study describes the structure of root-inhabiting bacterial communities of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana in two contrasting soil types. Soil-type as well as the plant genotype determine the profile of the root-inhabiting bacteria. Further, the comparison of rhizobacterial communities to wood-associated bacterial communities allowed the dissection into subcommunities with differing assembly cues. Plants were grown on natural soil in greenhouse experiments and 4 sample types collected. First sample type is the used soil. Plant roots were sampled for a 2nd sample type (adhering soil = rhizosphere) and root-inhabiting bacteria (3rd sample type). For comparison, wooden splinters, as 4th sample type, were co-incubated.
