Health benefits of bread fortification - A systematic review of clinical trials according to PRISMA Statement

The collection contains the results of a bibliographic query concerning original scientific articles on the impact of bread fortification on health parameters verified in clinical trials. The obtained records were used to develop a systematic review using the PRISMA program. Electronic searches were conducted in science libraries, Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO and Pub Med. The searches involved a combination of MeSH terms and keywords, the use of quotation marks and field markers with BOOLEAN operators. Four basic stages of exclusion have been defined for all databases: 1. keywords (“bread AND fortifi*”), 2. year (2013-2022), 3. language (English), 4. publication type (article), 5. study type (human experiment - SCOPUS; clinical trial - Web of Science) Bibliographic query was made on March 28, 2023.
