The Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry (ReBEC) is a freely accessible virtual platform for documenting human experimental and non-experimental studies conducted on Brazilian territory by both Brazilian and foreign researchers. ReBEC is a joint project of the Brazilian Ministry of Health (DECIT/MS), the Pan American Health Organization (OPAS) and the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), and its executive committee also includes the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA). This platform provides fast-track services to accelerate clinical trial approval for specific populations and disease types.
