Period-specific information Revisions year ended March 2018 This release contains revisions arising from new and more up-to-date information. The most notable changes include: updates of investment and inventories data, replacing provisional estimates with data integrated through the supply-use framework revisions to central government and household expenditure data, incorporating changes from GST and social assistance benefits in kind trade data revisions, including IT and film exports Changes on high-level nominal GDP and expenditure on GDP year on year change The following tables show the revisions on nominal GDP year on year change from figures we published last year (Nov 2018) to this release (Nov 2019). The key drivers of the revisions for each year are listed below: The 2016 revisions are mainly due to improved trade data, including extended coverage of expenditure by cruise ship visitors. The largest 2017 revisions are due to improved government consumption and trade data. The largest 2018 revisions are due to improved production, investment and inventory data.
