Wadden area (Environmental Vision 2016-2020)

This file contains the wadden area as established in the Environment Vision province of Groningen 2016-2020. The Wadden area has great and internationally recognised ecological and landscape value. Since 2009, the Wadden Sea has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Groningen part of the Wadden region includes the Wadden Sea (including the islands), the Eems estuary and the Lauwersmeer. For the entire Wadden area, a separate task is included in this Environmental Vision.
