This project aimed to characterize the bacterial and fungal community in agricultural soils of Japan, including crops, vegetables, and fruit soils. Soil samples from all over Japan and classified according to land using type, soil great groups (Vegetables and crops). Based on the 16Sr DNA and ITS RNA genes for soil bacterial and fungal community respectively was characterized using the Illumina MiSeq 250bp techniques. The microbial richness and relative abundance were determined for these factors mentioned above.
